Santo Domingo

The capital city of Dominican Republic is a bustling hub of activity with more than two million people. It is located in the central south of the country. The city is rare blend of cosmopolitan and the puritanical old, retaining the Latin charm. The old European charm of the city is well preserved in the “Colonial Enclave”, a region close to the Ozama River. No wonder the city has been recognized as a Heritage City by the UNESCO.
