Santiago de Cuba
A picturesque city of half a million people, Santiago de Cuba, is the capital city of the province with the same name. It is the second largest city of the Cuban country and historically enjoys an equal importance to the country capital Havana, located more than 500 miles away. The city forms an important sea port with its location on a bay with direct link to the Caribbean Sea. The city is a curious mix of French, Spanish, English, African and local cultures.
