Varadero The Paradise of Nature’s Lovers

Apart from the sandy white beaches, the place is known for caves, nature reserves and marine fauna. Almost one third of the area of the peninsula is occupied by the nature reserve of Varahicacos. The reserve is known for the preservation of rare plant of cactus variety more than 500 years old. The valleys of the three rivers, the Yumuri, Bacunayagua and Canimar are exceptionally green throughout the year. The Montemar Nature Reserve with large wetlands of Cuba offers rare flora and fauna. One can surely visit the crocodile breeding ground in La Boca and the old villages of Taino in Laguna del Tesoro. Varadero is trully paradise on Earth.
